Senior Technical Consultant – Atlassian Migration, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the migration of Atlassian projects from Data Center/Server to Cloud, managing the process from planning to go-live.

• Administer and set up Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket for clients.

• Integrate on-premises infrastructure and identity providers with contemporary cloud architectures.

• Automate repetitive tasks utilizing Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Counsel clients on technical migration and architectural matters.

• Simplify intricate technical concepts into understandable explanations for administrators and management.

• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the migration journey.

• Function as a technical ambassador and mentor within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in administering and configuring Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MySQL.

• Familiarity with identity providers and protocols, including LDAP, AD, SAML, and OIDC.

• Scripting abilities in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Atlassian Certified Professional or Associate certification is required.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, and tools such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, or Okta is advantageous.

• Capability to analyze complex issues and create technical solutions.

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated work style with a strong sense of accountability for projects.

• Strong customer orientation and mentoring capabilities.

• Effective communication tailored to the audience of administrators and management.
