SRE & Application Services Intern – Graduate/Master's

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in overseeing system reliability and performance alongside experienced engineers.

• Observe team members during incident response, triage, and root cause analysis.

• Create basic automation scripts to streamline routine operational tasks.

• Acquire and implement best practices in system design, maintenance, and change management.

• Adhere to established procedures for testing and service deployment.

• Engage in team learning activities and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Support essential reliability practices for highly available WEX services.

• Gain insights into incident management and the development of resilient, scalable systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, networking, and system troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Introductory experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Understanding of cloud computing concepts, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Solid grasp of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Familiarity with developing AI-driven solutions.

• Capability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
