Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee scalable infrastructure using Terraform.

• Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules and templates.

• Architect, manage, and optimize cloud resources across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Implement best practices for security, compliance, and cost management in cloud environments.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of applications and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with development teams on automated testing and deployment strategies.

• Implement solutions for monitoring, logging, and alerting.

• Analyze performance metrics and propose recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

• Guide, mentor, and provide support to DevOps engineers.

• Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.

• Work alongside developers, QA, and stakeholders on integration and deployment processes.

• Engage in architectural discussions and design reviews.

• Identify and resolve infrastructure challenges.

• Offer on-call support for production systems as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.

• Strong expertise in Terraform for cloud automation and infrastructure management.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their respective services.

• Robust understanding and practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or others.

• Solid grasp of DevOps principles and methodologies.

• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms like AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Engineer.

• Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.

• Understanding of security practices in cloud environments.

• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, LLMs, generative AI, and neural networks.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
