Squad Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead teams of software developers, including those from various vendors, towards shared objectives.

• Facilitate the Agile Kanban/Scrum methodologies, encompassing releases, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet budgetary constraints and requirements.

• Coach, guide, and assist team members to enhance their performance.

• Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders to deliver business value while managing cross-team dependencies.

• Identify and address delivery risks effectively.

• Cultivate a positive and collaborative culture that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.

• Encourage transparency, trust, and open lines of communication.

• Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, security, and continuous integration and deployment.

• Collaborate directly with the client’s director to facilitate effective communication and project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in software development, specifically as a Scrum Squad Leader or Scrum Master.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and the Kanban framework.

• Proven history of leading successful software development projects and delivering high-quality products within time and budget constraints.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of motivating and inspiring team members.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to identify and mitigate risks that could affect project success.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Experience utilizing Agile project management tools such as JIRA.

• Fluent in English.
