Speech Language Pathologist, Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.

• Create personalized therapy plans and objectives tailored to assessment findings and individual student needs.

• Deliver direct therapy services focusing on articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.

• Work closely with teachers, parents, and educational team members to enhance students' communication objectives.

• Utilize evidence-based methods and therapeutic activities within therapy sessions.

• Track students' progress and modify therapy plans as necessary.

• Accurately and promptly record therapy sessions, progress reports, and other pertinent information.

• Attend IEP meetings to contribute insights regarding students' speech and language requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Utah Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing Speech Language Pathology License.

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Utah.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

• Experience in delivering speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric environment.

• Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques typically employed in pediatric speech-language pathology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).

• Understanding of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technologies used in speech-language therapy (preferred).

• Capability to work remotely utilizing computer software and communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while using a computer keyboard and mouse.

• Occasionally capable of standing, walking, reaching, and lifting or moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
