Speech-Language Pathologist – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver student-focused, IEP-compliant virtual speech therapy for 16 students aged 5–20 with mild to moderate needs.

• Oversee SLPAs who are working with 32 students, including both direct observation and indirect supervision.

• Collaborate with school teams to assess and enhance IEP goals.

• Attend IEP meetings as necessary.

• Monitor session data and student progress to guide IEP consultations.

• Prepare goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting cycle.

• Work in conjunction with the special education leadership team and three Parallel SLPs serving the partner school.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Valid Colorado SLP licensure, including the Colorado Department of Education Special Services Provider license (SLP endorsement), or the ability to obtain it before December 2026.

• Experience in supervising SLPAs, or eligibility to supervise SLPAs per Colorado requirements.

• At least 1 year of full-time experience in a school setting providing IEP-directed therapy (post-CFY).

• Strong understanding of the IEP process, goal development, and progress tracking.

• Availability for 24 hours per week between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm MT.

• Consistent availability from Tuesday to Friday.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Proficiency with virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing is advantageous.

• Multilingual fluency is a noteworthy asset.
