This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the designated territory and target accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings while securing calls to action to finalize sales calls.
• Meet customer needs and expectations, establishing reliable customer relationships.
• Formulate and implement call plans to achieve call metrics and optimize coverage and frequency.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territorial dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
• Share market insights with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and support disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with district colleagues, matrix teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
• A minimum of five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree, with three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred.
• A high school diploma/GED is required if using equivalent industry experience instead of a bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated success in sales is essential.
• Strong presentation skills are necessary.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing, is required for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive information is essential.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency in business tools are required.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck as well as powered material-handling equipment.
