This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Develop pre-call plans and perform post-call evaluations.

• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings during sales interactions.

• Formulate and execute call plans to maximize customer engagement and sales potential.

• Cultivate trustworthy customer relationships and secure mutually beneficial agreements.

• Evaluate customer needs, market landscape, competitor analysis, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical data, and sales information.

• Communicate market intelligence with field teams, brand teams, and sales management.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with the assigned healthcare providers.

• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

• A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree, with at least three years preferred within the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors.

• High school diploma/GED is required if qualifying through experience.

• Extensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Strong business acumen and proficiency in business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Demonstrated success in sales.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.

• Experience in leadership and support roles at district, regional, or organizational levels.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Must meet relevant HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.

• Capable of operating a personal vehicle, company vehicle, or powered material-handling equipment.
