This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Develop pre-call plans and perform post-call assessments.

• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings during sales interactions.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with customers and secure mutually beneficial agreements.

• Create and implement call plans to optimize customer engagement and frequency.

• Gain expertise in customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales strategies.

• Provide market intelligence to in-field, brand, and sales teams.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.

• Prioritize patient needs while adhering to AbbVie’s code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.

• If lacking a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five (5) years of experience, including at least three (3) years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.

• Comprehensive understanding of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive information.

• Strong business acumen and proficient in the use of business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to adjust selling techniques to align with various customer styles and behaviors.

• Skilled in developing sales strategies and innovative solutions.

• Competent in operating effectively within a matrix environment.

• Experience in leadership and peer coaching.

• Proven success in leadership and support roles with increasing responsibilities.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Proficient in the English language, both spoken and written.

• Must meet the applicable HCIR credentialing requirements.

• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials.

• Valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.

• Must meet safe driving standards.

• Must have access to a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
