This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand key performance indicators, financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Oversee designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Establish robust customer relationships and address customer needs.

• Develop pre-call strategies and conduct evaluations after calls.

• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings during sales discussions.

• Secure calls to action and successfully close sales conversations.

• Meet customer needs and expectations to foster trusted relationships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.

• Design and implement call plans to enhance customer engagement, frequency, access, and sales potential.

• Cultivate an understanding of customer needs, territorial dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales proficiency.

• Communicate market insights with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to assigned healthcare providers.

• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant and equivalent industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree, including at least three (3) years within the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• Demonstrated history of leadership success.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Excellent business acumen.

• Proficient in the use of business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adjust selling techniques accordingly.

• Effective operation within a matrix environment.

• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry.

• Preferred knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.

• Proficiency in English is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.

• Must comply with safe driving standards.

• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
