This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Establish pre-call plan objectives and carry out post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, leading to effective calls to action for closing sales.
• Meet customer needs and expectations to foster trusted relationships and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and implement call plans that maximize coverage and frequency for key customers.
• Gain insights into customer needs, the market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
• Share market intelligence with in-field teams, brand, and sales departments.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; alternatively, relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in place of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, with three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Demonstrated history of successful leadership.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Excellent business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and swiftly adapt selling techniques.
• Effectively function in a matrix environment.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must fulfill relevant HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
