This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish strong customer connections and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plan objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while securing calls to action during sales interactions.
• Attend to customer needs and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Create and execute call plans that enhance coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, territorial markets, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales practices.
• Share market insights with field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with designated healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain disease-state experts and advocates/speakers.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant industry experience is required.
• Alternatively, at least five years of experience, with three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED is mandatory.
• Demonstrated history of successful leadership.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Excellent business acumen.
• Proficiency in using business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adjust selling techniques accordingly.
• Effectively operate within a matrix environment.
• Prior experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing.
• Preferred in-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
• Proficiency in English is preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
• Must meet applicable credentialing requirements for health care industry representatives and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.
• Capability to pass background checks, drug screenings, fingerprinting, and provide proof of immunizations/vaccinations where required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
