This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the designated territory and target accounts.
• Cultivate customer relationships and address their needs to enhance sales performance.
• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings while securing actionable outcomes.
• Respond to customer needs and establish trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Create and execute call plans to maximize coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Enhance knowledge of customer needs, market territories, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical topics, and sales strategies.
• Share market insights with field teams, brand management, and sales leadership.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain connections with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field is preferred.
• Relevant industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry is preferred.
• A high school diploma/GED is required when using the experience alternative.
• Demonstrated history of leadership success.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Excellent business acumen.
• Proficient in utilizing business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Skill in identifying customer styles/behaviors and adapting sales approaches accordingly.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Preferred comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
• English language proficiency is preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing, or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must adhere to safe driving standards.
