This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Oversee designated territory and target accounts.

• Establish customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance sales performance.

• Achieve sales targets, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Prepare pre-call plans and carry out post-call assessments.

• Manage objections and ensure logical calls to action during sales interactions.

• Address customer needs and foster trusted relationships.

• Develop and implement call plans to optimize coverage and frequency for key clients.

• Evaluate customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical information, and sales metrics.

• Provide market insights to field, brand, and sales management teams.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field, or relevant equivalent industry experience required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant and equivalent industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree, including three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred.

• High school diploma/GED is required if using experience as an alternative.

• Extensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Strong business acumen and proficiency in utilizing business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Proven success in sales.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Ability to function effectively within a matrix organization.

• Documented leadership and support achievements at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.

• Proficient in English speaking and writing preferred for non-English-speaking regions.

• Must meet relevant HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test.

• Must comply with safe driving requirements.
