This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Implement brand strategies and tactics within the field.
β’ Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
β’ Foster strong customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales outcomes.
β’ Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing targets.
β’ Develop pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call assessments.
β’ Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while securing calls to action to finalize sales calls.
β’ Attend to customer needs and cultivate trustworthy customer relationships.
β’ Create and implement call plans that meet call metrics and optimize coverage and frequency.
β’ Gain insights into customer needs, the territory's market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales expertise.
β’ Provide market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams.
β’ Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers and cultivate disease-state experts and advocates.
β’ Preferred: Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field; or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
β’ In absence of a bachelor's degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
β’ Strong business acumen and proficient in the use of business tools.
β’ Possess strategic and critical thinking abilities.
β’ Proven success in sales and exceptional presentation skills.
β’ Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
β’ Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
β’ Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
β’ Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.
β’ Valid driver's license is required.
β’ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and adhere to safe driving standards.
