This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish strong customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plan objectives and conduct post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings while securing calls to action during sales interactions.
• Address customer needs and expectations to cultivate trusted relationships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Design and implement call plans that maximize coverage and frequency for key customers.
• Acquire insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales.
• Share market insights with field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with designated healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience required in place of a bachelor’s degree, with three (3) or more years preferred in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector.
• A high school diploma/GED is mandatory when utilizing the experience alternative.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Proven history of success in sales.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Leadership and support experience at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing standards and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material handling equipment.
