This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field, enhancing sales performance.
• Oversee the assigned territory and target accounts effectively.
• Foster robust customer relationships and develop solutions to meet customer needs, maximizing both short-term and long-term sales outcomes.
• Prioritize the patient in all initiatives while adhering to AbbVie’s business conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives, striving to meet or surpass these targets.
• Establish pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continuously enhance sales effectiveness.
• Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently securing logical and reasonable actions to close every sales interaction.
• Design and implement a call plan that meets established call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency with key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field is preferred.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience is required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, with a preference for three (3) or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Demonstrates comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all pertinent stakeholders.
• Exhibits strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Proactively recognizes customer styles and behaviors, swiftly adapting their selling approach accordingly.
• Understands and utilizes insights to formulate effective sales strategies.
• Proven success in sales, along with strong presentation capabilities.
• Functions effectively in a matrix organizational structure.
• Provides innovative ideas and solutions to capitalize on business opportunities and address challenges.
• Documented success in leadership and support roles with increased responsibility at the district, region, and/or organizational levels.
• Preferred: A verified history of success in sales performance within the respective therapeutic areas.
