This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing aims.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plan objectives and conduct post-call evaluations.
• Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns; secure calls to action and finalize sales calls.
• Meet customer needs and expectations to foster trusted relationships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and implement call plans to optimize coverage and frequency for key customers.
• Gain insights into customer needs, the territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical information, and sales practices.
• Communicate market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to assigned healthcare providers.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Comply with AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, relevant laws, and regulations.
• Prioritize the patient in all efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant industry experience required.
• Relevant industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of 5 years of experience, with 3 or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required when using experience in place of a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated track record of successful leadership.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to identify customer styles/behaviors and adjust sales approaches accordingly.
• Effectively operate in a matrix environment.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing, preferred in non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials.
• Capable of passing background checks, drug screenings, and pre-employment drug tests.
• Proof of immunization/vaccination and fingerprinting may be required.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Must meet safe driving standards.
