This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the designated territory and focus accounts.
• Cultivate customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.
• Achieve sales objectives, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing targets.
• Develop pre-call plans and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections, concerns, and misconceptions while concluding sales calls with effective calls to action.
• Meet customer needs and expectations to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Formulate and implement call plans to maximize customer coverage and sales opportunities.
• Gain insights into customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
• Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to assigned healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• In the absence of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED required.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Demonstrated success in sales and effective presentation skills.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Leadership and support experience at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with safe driving standards.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
