This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plan objectives and perform post-call evaluations.
• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to drive calls to action and close sales.
• Address customer needs while fostering trusted relationships.
• Create and implement call plans to meet metrics and optimize coverage and frequency.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales strategies.
• Share market intelligence with field personnel, brand teams, and sales management.
• Highlight AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant industry experience in place of a bachelor's degree: a minimum of 5 years of experience, including 3 or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Demonstrated record of leadership success.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Robust business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Capability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and quickly adjust selling approaches.
• Effective operation in a matrix environment.
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Preferred in-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive areas.
• Proficiency in English is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible for these credentials.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must meet safe driving standards.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
