This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and sales tactics in the field.

• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.

• Foster customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and carry out post-call evaluations.

• Address objections and prompt customer actions to finalize sales calls.

• Attend to customer needs while establishing trusted relationships.

• Create and implement call plans that optimize coverage and frequency for key clients.

• Gather market intelligence about customer requirements, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales.

• Distribute market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams.

• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition for healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates.

• Travel approximately 25% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.

• A minimum of five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree, with three or more years preferred within the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors.

• A high school diploma/GED is required when the experience alternative is utilized.

• A demonstrated history of success in sales.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge in scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive areas.

• Strong business acumen and proficient usage of business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.

• Adaptability in sales approach based on customer style and behavior.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.

• Capability to travel adequately to cover the territory and attend overnight training and sales meetings.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.

• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
