This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations.
• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to secure calls to action for closing sales.
• Meet customer needs and expectations to foster trusted relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and implement call plans that optimize coverage and frequency for key customers.
• Acquire knowledge of customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales practices.
• Provide market intelligence to in-field, brand, and sales teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field team members, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required.
• Relevant equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required when substituting experience for a bachelor’s degree.
• Proven success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Experience or success in the pharmaceutical commercial industry preferred.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.
• Must exhibit comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Capability to operate effectively in a matrix environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle or company vehicle/truck or powered material-handling equipment.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
