This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales outcomes, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and address their needs.
• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and conduct evaluations after calls.
• Manage objections, misunderstandings, and concerns to prompt actions that lead to closing sales calls.
• Address customer expectations and needs to cultivate trusted relationships and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and execute call plans to meet call metrics and enhance coverage and frequency.
• Gain insights into customer needs, market dynamics within the territory, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales.
• Share market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales management.
• Highlight AbbVie’s unique value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field team members, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• Comply with AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience required.
• If lacking a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, including three or more years preferred in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors, along with a high school diploma/GED required.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing, for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.
• In-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Must have the ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe-driving standards.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
