This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Deliver clinical expertise regarding Amgen products to healthcare professionals and assist them in navigating the intricate payer landscape.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
• Execute the marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as directed by the District Manager.
• Convey current and comprehensive product information and clinical advantages to medical professionals to encourage appropriate usage.
• Attain territory sales targets through branded messaging, structured programs, medical education initiatives, and both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Cultivate and oversee customer accounts based on their specific needs.
• Ensure product accessibility, resolve or triage reimbursement challenges, and uphold product contracts.
• Provide insights on marketing strategies and evaluate sales activities and territory performance.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate territory plans.
• Exchange best practices and continuously engage in learning and development with peers.
• Promote the brand throughout the sales process while prioritizing patient impact.
• Adhere to Amgen values and foster collaboration, communication, and accountability.
• Specialty Representative: Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field unrelated to sales OR Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field unrelated to sales OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field unrelated to sales.
• A minimum of three years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry (preferred).
• Experience in product or hospital sales within oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases (preferred).
• Familiarity with the local market (preferred).
• Established relationships within the territory (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration (preferred).
• Flexibility and core competencies in Planning and Organizing; Utilizing Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge; Communicating Effectively; Driving for Results; and Building Internal and External Relationships.
