This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Deliver up-to-date and thorough knowledge of Amgen’s products while conveying clinical advantages to healthcare professionals.
• Promote appropriate use of Amgen products.
• Execute marketing strategies and advocate for Amgen products as directed by the District Manager.
• Attain territory sales through branded messaging, structured programs, educational medical initiatives, and both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Develop, support, and manage customer accounts effectively.
• Tailor discussions and customer engagements according to individual customer requirements.
• Ensure product accessibility, address or escalate reimbursement concerns, and uphold product contracts.
• Provide insights on marketing strategies and assess sales activities and territory performance.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to create territory plans.
• Share best practices and consistently enhance skills and knowledge as a Senior Specialty Representative.
• Strengthen the brand while prioritizing patient impact.
• Adhere to Amgen values through ethical, collaborative, and accountable work practices.
• Specialty Representative: Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field unrelated to sales OR Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field unrelated to sales OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field unrelated to sales.
• Minimum of three years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors.
• Preferred experience in product or hospital sales within oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases.
• Preferred knowledge of the local market.
• Preferred established relationships within the territory.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
• Demonstrated adaptability with Core Competencies: Planning and Organizing; Leveraging Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge; Communicating with Impact; Driving for Results; and Cultivating Internal and External Relationships.
