Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation, coordination, and management of Specialty REMS medications.

• Communicate with physicians to clarify prescription orders.

• Enter prescriptions into the system as necessary.

• Support pharmacists and patients by ensuring adherence to REMS operational procedures.

• Maintain effective communication with patients, providers, and leadership.

• Prioritize requests, interpret procedures, and adjust processes to meet operational requirements.

• Execute advanced administrative, operational, and customer support tasks with minimal supervision.

• Utilize intermediate mathematical skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, or Texas, as mandated by state regulations.

• National Certification: PTCB (CphT) or ExCPT.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, including proficient data entry skills.

• Basic proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook.

• Capability to learn and utilize platforms such as SharePoint and Teams.

• Ability to troubleshoot simple technical issues.

• Must be a resident of Arizona, Florida, Ohio, or Texas to work remotely.

• Self-provided internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.

• Wired cable connection is essential.

• Dedicated workspace away from high-traffic areas to safeguard confidential and HIPAA/PHI information.
