📋 Description

• Craft complex single-turn prompts within the field of energetic materials and propulsion.

• Classify prompts as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.

• Assess model outputs against established policy standards.

• Evaluate whether model outputs effectively addressed technical inquiries.

• Develop reference answers that outline correct responses and the underlying technical reasoning.

• Conduct red-team assessments on cutting-edge AI models to identify misuse potential concerning technical requests.

• Provide written explanations that are accessible to non-specialists.

• Analyze and document misuse scenarios relevant to the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Specialized materials chemist with a background in pyrotechnics, propulsion, or energetic materials.

• Experience in formulating, synthesizing, and testing specialty energetic materials within a licensed or governmental setting.

• Proven ability to differentiate between routine professional inquiries and potentially dangerous requests.

• Knowledge of formulation chemistry, synthesis and characterization of energetic compounds, performance and sensitivity testing, scale-up and process safety, or solid/liquid rocket propellant development.

• Relevant experience in calorimetry, thermal stability, or small-scale safety testing is advantageous.

• Exceptional technical writing skills; each evaluation must provide a rationale that is comprehensible to non-specialists.

• Previous technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is highly desirable.

• Prohibited from utilizing classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information in the work.

• Required to disclose any ongoing obligations related to classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information to ensure appropriate scoping of the work.
