Specialty Care Navigator, Mood and Anxiety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct telephonic screenings, brief interventions, and refer members to specialized treatment providers for mood and/or anxiety issues.

• Employ active listening, psychoeducation, and motivational interviewing techniques to comprehend each member’s requirements and assist them in setting their goals.

• Leverage knowledge of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills to guide members throughout their care journey.

• Assess the appropriate level of care, facilitate referrals, and coordinate with a Spring Health provider.

• Offer consultations on mental health issues as well as family and relationship matters, tailored to member needs.

• Record information, maintain precise documentation, perform follow-ups, and monitor progress across multiple systems, including an EHR, within stipulated timeframes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid mental health license required: LCSW, LMFT, LPC.

• At least 2+ years of clinical care experience focusing on chronic and severe mood and anxiety disorders.

• Proficiency in motivational interviewing, diagnostic assessments, and triage processes.

• Familiarity with current best practices and evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience and training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

• Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience working with a diverse range of populations.

• Commitment to going the extra mile for members to ensure a high-touch experience.

• Tech-savvy: comfortable navigating various computer platforms and learning new systems.
