Specialist Supply Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Create and execute a comprehensive master production schedule along with an inventory management strategy to fulfill customer service objectives and align with the company's financial goals.

• Establish and sustain planning system configurations, calendars, and attributes to formulate a constrained rough-cut master schedule.

• Develop and oversee realistic 18-month production schedules that align with sales targets, inventory goals, and product lifecycle objectives.

• Manage product supply through exception management, capacity analysis, ACC feasibility input, and integration of new items.

• Control finished goods/intermediate inventory targets, item versions, deployment settings, safety stock opportunities, and the risks associated with aged/unsalable products.

• Ensure precise Kinaxis/SAP production and ATP information is maintained.

• Contribute to annual planning, analytical assessments, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Operations Planners, and other stakeholders to address supply challenges.

• Plan for approximately 150–200 items across 1–6 plants and 10–40 production resources, which corresponds to $160M–$750M in sales and an average finished goods inventory of $15M–$30M.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering, preferably with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

• 1–3 years of progressively responsible experience in production scheduling, inventory management/deployment, or supply/operations planning.

• Familiarity with supply chain management principles.

• Knowledge of supply planning systems.

• Preferred experience with SAP.

• Understanding of the impact of forecasting.

• Strong skills in mathematics, analysis, and problem-solving.

• Capability to resolve issues independently.

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions.

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor and train others.

• Proficient in MS Office and PC applications.
