This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Deliver in-depth technical sales support for go-to-market initiatives concerning Red Hat managed cloud services.
• Clearly explain how Managed OpenShift services can enhance operational efficiency, expedite time to value, and alleviate operational burdens.
• Eliminate organizational, competitive, and technical obstacles that hinder customer adoption.
• Direct customers toward production-ready, enterprise-approved Managed OpenShift architectures.
• Communicate the Cloud Services value proposition to leadership, operations teams, and developers.
• Execute architecture walkthroughs, engage in business-value discussions, and conduct Success Planning.
• Collaborate with account teams and Customer Success to uncover customer use cases, challenges, and adoption impediments.
• Offer technical direction in establishing customer-approved, enterprise-ready Managed OpenShift architectures.
• Strategically plan, design, and implement customized solutions utilizing Red Hat support and resources.
• Provide product feedback to the Managed OpenShift Product and SRE teams.
• Assist in solution design and deliver technical recommendations directly to clients.
• Create and propose solutions leveraging consultative selling and business insight.
• Identify and collaborate with customer advocates to champion Cloud Services.
• Share insights and knowledge with team members.
• Facilitate technical deep dives, proofs of concept, workshops, and internal training events, both pre- and post-sales.
• Work alongside account teams, Customer Success, Product, and SRE teams to ensure positive customer experiences, revenue growth, and renewals.
• Over 5 years of experience in a sales engineer, consultant, IT architect, or similar customer-facing technical role within enterprise accounts.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, along with their respective service ecosystems.
• Practical experience with Red Hat's managed cloud services offerings, including ROSA and ARO.
• Strong working knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift.
• Proficient product knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.
• Proven consultative selling abilities, with a knack for designing and proposing solutions that integrate business insight.
• Established history of cultivating relationships across engineering, commercial, and executive tiers within large enterprise IT organizations.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and presentation capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of the application lifecycle from development to operations (DevOps).
• Familiarity with containers, container management and security, and CI/CD tooling.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Relevant mid-level Red Hat certifications in the specialty area are preferred.
• Public cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are preferred.
