Special Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Empower school-aged children utilizing evidence-based approaches.

• Deliver specialized instruction in math and literacy within a virtual environment.

• Assist in specialized instruction and the implementation of individual education plans.

• Collaborate effectively with families and educators.

• Facilitate student success through consistent, data-driven assistance.

• Aid students in developing independence and resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Special Education.

• Vermont Certified PK-12, knowledgeable about Vermont's regulations and guidelines.

• Experience in case management.

• At least 2 years of experience in an educational setting.

• Exhibits ethical behavior, adheres to policies, and takes responsibility for assigned duties.

• Works collaboratively with colleagues and fosters a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

• Maintains a growth mindset, responds positively to challenges, and can independently troubleshoot issues.

• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and effectively manages time and tasks.
