This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Promote the adoption of the MACSima™ and Ultramicroscope Blaze product lines, which include related software, antibodies, and reagents.
• Drive sales initiatives within academic and biopharma environments.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify potential sales leads and formulate strategies to convert them into customers.
• Engage with customers and prospects through presentations, demonstrations, and sales conversations.
• Collaborate effectively with service and support teams to guarantee customer success.
• Organize and execute product demonstrations alongside field sales and support teams.
• Participate in tradeshows, sales meetings, training sessions, and other designated activities.
• Travel both domestically and internationally as required.
• Maintain the sales pipeline, manage leads, and complete administrative duties within corporate systems.
• Train and mentor fellow spatial biology specialists.
• Enhance application knowledge and foster marketing relationships with clients.
• Build referral business, establish reference sites, and cultivate technology advocates.
• Serve as a primary contact for marketing initiatives.
• Engage in strategic market analysis and supply competitive insights to management.
• Collaborate within shared accounts to enhance overall company sales.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences is mandatory.
• A minimum of 6-10 years of sales experience is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in capital equipment sales is essential.
• Experience in immunology is preferred.
• Familiarity with immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, transcriptomics, spatial biology, single-cell sequencing, and/or high content screening is necessary.
• Understanding of basic analysis or formats for representing large datasets is required.
• Comfortable working with early-adoption phase products and innovative applications.
• Capability to differentiate customer profiles based on objectives and needs, making real-time decisions on opportunities.
• Ability to interpret market trends and provide actionable feedback.
• Capable of walking, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, standing, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (dual lift).
• Proficient in handling multiple tasks simultaneously while working at a fast pace and maintaining attention to detail.
• Must have a temperature-controlled home office setup.
• Must be able to travel to customer locations.
