• Facilitate effective communication between Spanish and English-speaking individuals.

• Handle calls in a professional manner in accordance with the interpreter’s code of conduct.

• Have a strong understanding of industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical terminology.

• Engage in internal professional development training.

• Communicate and provide updates to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Reside in the United States.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in interpretation.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capability to convey accurate concepts and meanings in line with established interpretation protocols, ensuring no omissions or additions.

• Proficient in explaining certain cultural concepts to prevent misunderstandings, with consent or at the client's request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset required.

• Operating system: Windows 10 or Mac.

• A quiet and secure workspace is essential.

• Language testing and a background check may be necessary depending on location.
