Sovereign Cloud Solution Architect

📋 Description

• Support local account teams by providing extensive technical expertise in managing ETL, analytical, streaming, and Machine Learning/AI workloads on public cloud platforms.

• Collaborate with customer Cloud/InfoSec teams to clarify the requirements for deploying Cloudera on public cloud environments.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for proof-of-concept and pilot customers utilizing Cloudera on the Cloud.

• Offer guidance to customers on the most effective strategies for executing Big Data workloads in the public cloud, taking into account both performance and cost efficiency.

• Conduct enablement workshops and promote Big Data use cases on public cloud at events of various scales.

• Interact with security and compliance teams to confirm that solutions align with customers’ cloud compliance regulations.

• Relay customer feature requests to product management to aid in shaping product development.

• Identify relevant use cases, establish best practices, and assist customers throughout their Data/AI journey in the cloud.

• Collaborate closely with pre-sales teams, strategic customers, engineering, field teams, clients, and partners to foster adoption and advance platform development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting position, with experience across 3 public clouds.

• Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) technical certifications (Architect, security, developer) are highly advantageous.

• Proven experience in deploying Data/AI solutions on Public Cloud using technologies like EMR, HDI, Dataproc, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SOLR, and Elastic on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Bash, or SQL, along with experience working with REST APIs.

• Ability to operate independently within a small, agile, globally dispersed team.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the region, subject to domestic and international conditions.

• Additional skills such as technical marketing, public speaking, multilingual capabilities, production-grade code development, enterprise architecture, or PaaS/SaaS delivery are advantageous.

• Technical experience at a multinational enterprise or governmental level, including interaction with executive-level stakeholders, may be beneficial.
