This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.
• Oversee the complete production processes across a designated group of factories.
• Act as the main on-site contact for immediate issue resolution and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Aid in Risk Assessment (TD) and Pre-Production (T4) meetings by collecting data, pinpointing risks, and suggesting actions.
• Collaborate with the Quality Management (QM) team to ensure factories comply with SOPs and product specifications during mass production.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and promptly escalate any deviations.
• Address daily production challenges, such as material shortages and low output, in conjunction with VF functions and factory partners.
• Verify factory production planning schedules to meet On-Time Performance (OTP) targets.
• Make immediate production decisions, including line balancing and recommendations for automation.
• Assist in supervising production start-ups for high-risk styles.
• Support the verification of social and environmental compliance corrective action plans and the implementation of VF programs like Higg Index, WCD, and LABS.
• Provide on-site assistance for the adoption of automation and process modifications.
• Compile production reports and management insights.
• Aid in root cause analysis and corrective action plan (CAP) reviews for quality claims, tracking CAP implementation and reporting on progress.
• Travel frequently to factory locations within designated areas.
• Understanding of the product category relevant to this position, including manufacturing methods, materials, and construction techniques.
• Experience in Product Development or Technical fields is a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in production operations or technical roles.
• Experience collaborating with international factories and a diverse factory management team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PLM systems, and production planning software.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
