Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Gather information, inputs, and data from multiple sources and perform analyses or simulations to aid sourcing efforts.

• Evaluate sourcing data and present insights aimed at enhancing processes and reducing costs while ensuring high standards in product and service delivery.

• Assist in sourcing procedures and procure assigned items in line with established sourcing strategies and optimal cost considerations.

• Support or take the lead on special projects within the team's category focus.

• Act as a super user or subject matter expert for relevant systems and tools.

• Acquire inventory, supplies, capital goods, services, and other products; issue purchase orders to vendors.

• Analyze sourcing and procurement initiatives and workflows.

• Prepare and deliver value capture summaries and recommendations at the end of each month and quarter.

• Implement sourcing policies, procedures, and processes.

• Assist with price benchmarking, vendor management, process analysis, market and industry research, and model development.

• Engage in minor contract negotiations and provide input on larger agreements.

• Load and retrieve legal and compliance documentation for regulatory, audit, and research purposes.

• Help in interviewing and assessing sales representatives and vendors.

• Contribute to Six Sigma projects through team involvement, data analysis, and market intelligence.

• Communicate with suppliers concerning payments and order fulfillment.

• Compile and manage Ariba IACs (Invoices against Contracts).

• Conduct low-complexity/risk sourcing tasks and contract development under supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with HHP hardware and mechanical assembly components.

• A college, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience is required.

• Licensing may be necessary for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

• Familiarity with data analytics, procurement systems, sourcing, Source to Pay principles, supply base risk management, procurement policies, and tools.

• Capability to utilize purchasing systems for RFQ processes and Total Cost of Ownership evaluations.

• Competence in conducting price benchmarking, vendor management, process analysis, market and industry research, and model creation.

• Ability to engage in minor contract negotiations and support larger contracts.

• Proficiency in managing legal and compliance documents within storage systems.

• Understanding of procurement ethics and confidentiality requirements.
