Senior Enterprise Sourcing Specialist

📋 Description

• Take ownership of sourcing for intricate Enterprise opportunities, including recurring shuttle programs, major events, transit initiatives, and large-scale or time-sensitive transportation projects.

• Assess transportation scopes, operational prerequisites, sourcing requirements, constraints, and feasibility.

• Create detailed program cost models.

• Formulate sourcing strategies that balance cost, feasibility, service quality, capacity, and client expectations.

• Identify and assess transportation operators based on pricing, location, capabilities, capacity, service history, scalability, and suitability.

• Lead commercial discussions with operator partners.

• Tackle complex supply challenges and devise actionable solutions.

• Establish and nurture relationships with operators.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Sales during the sales and RFP processes.

• Provide insights on sourcing strategies, program costs, feasibility evaluations, market intelligence, and proposal contributions.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Operations for seamless transitions to active programs.

• Assist with operator or commercial escalations post-launch.

• Ensure accurate sourcing, pricing, operator, and opportunity data is maintained within company systems.

• Leverage data and market insights to enhance sourcing efficiency, turnaround times, cost competitiveness, operator selection, and capacity coverage.

• Identify emerging supply needs, market constraints, and opportunities to bolster CharterUP’s transportation network.

• Report directly to the Director of Enterprise Sourcing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in transportation, mobility, logistics, strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or a related operational field.

• Strong preference for candidates with transportation industry experience, particularly in passenger transportation, shuttle services, transit, motorcoach, mobility, or complex transportation operations.

• Capability to translate intricate business or operational requirements into sourcing strategies and precise cost models.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.

• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Comfort with pricing, operational, and market data analysis.

• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

• Experience in negotiating pricing, terms, or service agreements with suppliers or vendors.

• Ability to evaluate suppliers based on cost, capability, quality, capacity, and operational fit.

• Strong relationship-building skills with operator partners, business owners, and senior management.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to develop innovative solutions.

• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple sourcing opportunities with competing priorities and deadlines.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with tight timelines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of ownership, urgency, judgment, and attention to detail.

• Must reside in one of CharterUP’s approved states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.
