Senior Procurement Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee the procurement intake process and manage deal execution from request to contract signature and supplier onboarding.

• Develop and enhance procurement processes, policies, and controls as the company advances towards bank charter readiness.

• Establish playbooks and standards for the procurement team.

• Lead contract negotiations from start to finish, including managing redlines, pricing discussions, and vendor communications.

• Administer and operate P2P and procurement tools, ensuring that workflows, controls, and integrations function as designed.

• Ensure the accuracy of procurement and vendor data across intake, approvals, renewals, and systems.

• Manage vendor portfolio operations, including vendor records, renewal calendars, pricing adjustments, SLAs, and performance monitoring.

• Act as the operational liaison for Accounts Payable, Legal, Security, and Compliance.

• Track cycle times and identify bottlenecks to drive process and tooling enhancements.

• Facilitate vendor risk intake by initiating cross-functional reviews and escalating issues as needed.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports on spending, renewals, throughput, and savings.

• Collaborate with the Procurement Lead on reporting, deal preparation, and executive updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, P2P operations, or a relevant finance or operations role.

• Practical experience with P2P or procurement systems such as Zip, Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms.

• Proven ability to independently lead negotiations resulting in significant commercial outcomes.

• Experience in developing or significantly enhancing procurement processes.

• Knowledge of vendor risk, compliance, or third-party review processes.

• Experience managing workflows from incomplete or disorganized intake through execution and closure.

• Strong operational judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach.

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions with Finance, Legal, Security, and business stakeholders.

• Proficient in working with data and creating simple, effective dashboards to support decision-making.

• Experience in a regulated or high-scrutiny environment (preferred).

• Experience in a high-growth tech or startup setting (preferred).
