Source to Contract Associate – Procurement Services, SaaS/Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Execute a range of sourcing projects, from straightforward to intricate, overseeing them from inception to completion.

• Validate sourcing requests in accordance with client specifications.

• Analyze bid package requirements and engage with client requesters to fill any data gaps.

• Prepare and distribute sourcing packages to designated suppliers.

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure sufficient participation.

• Analyze and summarize submitted proposals.

• Coordinate supplier assessments and facilitate the decision-making process.

• Provide RFx, reverse auction, and negotiation services adhering to established service levels.

• Simultaneously manage 5–12 sourcing projects with minimal supervision or independently.

• Evaluate project requirements, perform due diligence and validation, gather additional project details, respond to process inquiries, and provide status updates.

• Conduct spend data collection and analysis, supply market analysis, supplier discovery, RFx development, management, reverse auctions, negotiations, and bid response evaluations.

• Complete negotiations utilizing software environments and credit-based system enterprise licensing for Technology, SaaS, Professional Services, and Corporate Services agreements.

• Manage supplier relationships, including orientation and training on the sourcing process, along with milestone follow-ups.

• Conduct thorough proposal analyses, facilitate supplier evaluations, draw conclusions, prepare summaries, and present findings to clients.

• Develop or customize RFx, pricing, and proposal evaluation templates.

• Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend enhancements to Denali procedures.

• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation.

• Collaborate with Client Category Managers and WNS SMEs to devise project strategies and sourcing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, operations, or supply chain.

• Strong sourcing capabilities, encompassing sourcing methodology and process, eSourcing technology, and RFx development and management.

• Familiarity with best practice sourcing methods and techniques.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data in Excel, including pivot tables and other functions.

• Ability to synthesize data, draw insights, and formulate recommendations based on client goals and requirements.

• Proficiency in one or more eSourcing tools, such as Ariba, Procuri, Iasta, Zycus, or an ERP eSourcing module.

• Experience with Claude is preferred.

• Basic to intermediate negotiation skills in software environments and credit-based system enterprise licensing, including Technology, SaaS, Professional Services, and Corporate Services agreements.

• Understanding of retail store-specific categories, pricing/cost structures, terminology, key vendors, key requirements, and sourcing levers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong project management skills, including project planning, time management, multitasking, and defining critical paths.

• Strong customer service orientation, issue resolution capabilities, and relationship management skills.

• Ability to learn and master client-specific processes, terminology, political environments, systems, and unique requirements.
