Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Implement comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategies for data center and power generation initiatives.

• Identify suppliers and oversee the execution of RFQ/RFP processes.

• Perform commercial evaluations and negotiations.

• Process purchase orders efficiently.

• Manage supplier relationships and monitor long-lead equipment.

• Compile procurement reports for analysis.

• Collaborate with teams across Engineering, Project Management/EPC, Finance, Legal, Sales, and suppliers.

• Utilize AI and digital tools to enhance procurement efficiency and informed decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.

• Proven experience in managing RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, commercial analysis, and negotiations.

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and Excel/data-management capabilities.

• Strong communication skills with suppliers and ability to collaborate across functions.

• Competence in managing multiple priorities and working independently in a dynamic environment.

• Background in data centers, power generation, energy, EPC, construction, or industrial infrastructure.

• Familiarity with electrical/mechanical equipment, long-lead items, or project procurement.

• Experience in procurement related to engineering, construction, commissioning, logistics, or other project services.

• Knowledge of ERP/e-procurement systems, procurement analytics, or supplier expediting processes.

• Experience working with international or global suppliers.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for procurement research, analysis, reporting, or workflow automation.

• Successful completion of employment verification and background checks during the onboarding process.
