This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a dedicated consultative resource for Sales, Sales leadership, and customers with a focus on Microsoft solutions.
• Participate in customer calls alongside stakeholders, offering options tailored to customer requirements and budget.
• Provide industry insights centered on pain points leading to Microsoft modern solutions.
• Evaluate quote solutions and propose enhanced program and product suite alternatives.
• Advocate for value-added managed and professional services to facilitate customer transformation.
• Support designated customer Enterprise Agreements by offering product, program, and contract guidance that aligns with Microsoft Licensing Guidelines.
• Oversee the lifecycle of Enterprise Agreement contracts, including subscription reconciliations, true-ups, additional product orders, and renewals.
• Generate cost analyses, product quotes, and pricing transparency for Enterprise Agreements in collaboration with Sales.
• Establish milestone touchpoints with customers and their Microsoft account teams.
• Engage in discussions regarding Microsoft opportunities to enhance value and showcase Connection services.
• Stay updated on programs, technical knowledge, market trends, and operational models.
• Complete Microsoft training through Get License Ready and Partner University.
• Investigate new product developments.
• Cultivate and sustain positive vendor relationships.
• Balance the needs of vendors and Connection in support of customers.
• Identify deficiencies in partner tools and assist in creating or enhancing resources.
• Support Microsoft Landscape Optimization assessment consultations.
• Pursue opportunities for increased account control by involving the site Microsoft team.
• Maintain and update the Salesforce Pipeline.
• Present at Sales team meetings and onboarding events.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) at an advanced user level.
• Experience in hosting and attending remote meetings via Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.
• Consultative experience with Microsoft Online Services, including M365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Microsoft's lifecycle and renewal processes for Enterprise Agreements, CSP, MPSA, and Cloud Subscription Agreements.
• Capability to identify, drive, and manage all aspects of a Microsoft deal from inception to closure.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure the best purchasing agreements for customers and Connection.
• Understanding of sales strategies, including upselling, with proven success in a goal-oriented environment.
• Strong business analysis skills to translate customer needs into Microsoft solutions.
• Analytical ability to derive conclusions from data in a systematic and rational manner.
• Flexibility to shift tasks based on changing priorities.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver professional presentations.
• Excellent written communication skills and the capacity to create professional business correspondence.
• Keen attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• Organizational skills to document activities, anticipate issues, plan schedules, and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines.
