This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a dedicated consultative resource for Sales, Sales leadership, and customers centered around Microsoft solutions.
• Participate in customer calls with stakeholders, offering options that align with customer requirements and budget considerations.
• Provide industry-specific insights addressing pain points that lead to Microsoft modern solutions.
• Evaluate quoting solutions and propose improved program and product suite alternatives.
• Highlight value-added managed and professional services that contribute to customer transformation.
• Assist customers with Enterprise Agreements by providing guidance on products, programs, and contracts.
• Oversee the lifecycle of Enterprise Agreement contracts, including subscription reconciliation, true-up placement, additional product orders, and renewals.
• Generate cost analyses, product quotes, and pricing insights for Enterprise Agreements in collaboration with Sales.
• Establish milestone touchpoints with customers and their Microsoft account teams.
• Participate in Microsoft opportunity discussions to enhance value and promote Connection services.
• Remain updated on programs, technical knowledge, market trends, and operational models.
• Complete Microsoft training through Get License Ready and Partner University.
• Investigate new product developments.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
• Balance the needs of vendors and Connection in support of customers.
• Identify deficiencies in partner tools and assist in the creation or enhancement of resources.
• Aid in Microsoft Landscape Optimization assessment consultations.
• Seek opportunities for increased account control through involvement with the Microsoft team on-site.
• Maintain and update the Salesforce Pipeline.
• Present at Sales team meetings and onboarding events.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision from the Manager of Microsoft Solution Sales.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Skilled in hosting and attending remote meetings using Teams, Zoom, Webex, and similar platforms.
• Consultative experience with Microsoft Online Services including M365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Microsoft's lifecycle and renewals process for Enterprise Agreements, CSP, MPSA, and Cloud Subscription Agreements.
• Capability to identify, drive, and manage all facets of a Microsoft deal from inception to completion.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure optimal purchasing agreements for customers and Connection.
• Working knowledge of sales strategies, including upselling, with a proven track record in a goal-oriented environment.
• Strong business analysis capabilities to translate customer needs into Microsoft solutions.
• Analytical skills to derive conclusions from data in a systematic and logical manner.
• Flexibility and the ability to pivot tasks based on changing priorities.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver professional presentations.
• Outstanding written communication skills with the ability to draft professional business correspondence.
• Keen attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Organizational skills to document activities, foresee issues, plan schedules, and monitor performance in accordance with priorities and deadlines.
• Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all organizational levels.
• Azure and Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certifications.
