Solutions Engineer, Veeam Data Cloud Vault

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Promote the Veeam Vault product suite and offer expertise to end users, partners, and internal teams.

• Collaborate with the core sales team to create Veeam Vault opportunities that lead to technical success.

• Execute live and virtual presentations and demonstrations for customers.

• Convert customer and partner business goals into technical specifications.

• Independently consult with clients and deliver technical expertise on Vault solutions.

• Work together with Product Management to relay customer feedback.

• Provide pre-sales assistance while clients assess Veeam software.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor for strategic accounts focusing on data resilience, security, Vault, and public cloud platforms.

• Conduct architecture reviews, resilience assessments, operational readiness evaluations, and solution validation engagements.

• Counsel technical and executive stakeholders on resilience strategies, cyber recovery, cloud modernization, and operational best practices.

• Direct the protection and recovery of workloads across virtual, physical, public cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.

• Evaluate architectures and offer advice on data protection, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and secure recovery strategies.

• Analyze telemetry data, platform adoption trends, and operational metrics.

• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Product Management, and Support teams.

• Facilitate technical workshops, executive briefings, and strategic advisory sessions.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Vault, public cloud data protection, cyber resilience, and secure recovery strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, cloud engineering, customer success, infrastructure engineering, or related technical fields.

• In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms, cyber resilience, Vault, data protection technologies, or enterprise infrastructure.

• Experience in designing, deploying, supporting, or advising on AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud architectures.

• Familiarity with cloud architecture, identity and access management, security best practices, and modern infrastructure design principles.

• Background in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, secure recovery, or cyber vaulting strategies.

• Proficiency in hybrid cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, and enterprise infrastructure.

• Ability to engage with technical and executive stakeholders and translate complex technical ideas into business results.

• Experience performing architecture reviews, technical assessments, workshops, proofs of concept, or strategic advisory engagements.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferred certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware, security, or related areas.
