Solutions Engineer – Enterprise Automation, Observability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze intricate customer environments to extract specific technical requirements.

• Design solution architectures for automation, observability, and network monitoring.

• Make informed technology decisions.

• Facilitate technical workshops, presentations, and demonstrations.

• Assume responsibility for successful proofs of concept.

• Install, configure, and integrate enterprise software solutions within customer systems.

• Independently investigate root causes and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal consultants.

• Construct and enhance demo, test, and lab environments.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies and products and implement this knowledge in practical scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in IT environments with the capacity to quickly grasp complex interrelations.

• Experience in managing large-scale or complex enterprise IT environments.

• A passion for troubleshooting and conducting technical root-cause analysis.

• An independent and organized approach to work.

• Effective communication with technical stakeholders and customers.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Foundational technical knowledge, ideally spanning several of the following areas: Linux/Windows Server, TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls, proxies, REST APIs/system integration, PowerShell, Bash, Python, virtualization/containers, databases, monitoring/observability/IT automation.

• Familiarity with Broadcom Automic Automation, AppNeta, or DX NetOps.

• Understanding of enterprise automation or workload automation solutions.

• Experience with network monitoring or application performance monitoring.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and VMware/VMware Cloud Foundation.

• Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming technologies.

• Background in hybrid IT environments.

• Ability to autonomously learn unfamiliar subjects and resolve issues through in-depth comprehension.
