
Senior System Software Integration Engineer β ADAS Platform, Vehicle Bring-Up

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Integrate and enhance automotive system software, develop ADAS components and platform tools, and deliver production-quality solutions across NVIDIA and partner codebases
β’ Maintain automation pipelines for building, testing, and releasing while addressing infrastructure and pipeline challenges
β’ Triage and analyze regressions across staging release trains, SIL/HIL environments, vehicle test racks, and simulation platforms
β’ Resolve differences between test results from NVIDIA and OEMs
β’ Debug platform, OS-level, and performance issues on Linux and QNX, including boot failures, crashes, core dumps, CPU affinity, IPC contention, and logging overhead
β’ Coordinate hardware bring-up and debugging on vehicle racks and HIL benches, including sensors, MCUs, SoCs, automotive networks and buses, and PTP synchronization
β’ Manage feature and system verticals end-to-end, including staging status, defect tracking, fix validation, in-vehicle testing, and post-drive log analysis
β’ Develop, integrate, and validate partner-specific interface adaptations through functional bring-up on target platforms
β’ Act as a continuous technical liaison for an OEM partner
β’ Facilitate root-cause alignment, technical workshops, release planning, readiness reviews, and escalation management
β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field
β’ Over 5 years of relevant experience in ADAS, automotive software, embedded systems, platform integration, or system validation within an OEM, Tier 1, or similar environment
β’ Strong debugging skills in Linux and QNX
β’ Proficient in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python and Bash
β’ Solid understanding of RTOS, ADAS sensor sets, software integration, and AUTOSAR Adaptive and Classic
β’ Practical experience with hardware bring-up
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and Docker or other containerized environments
β’ Knowledge of CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, PTP, code review, and Gerrit workflows
β’ Hands-on experience with vehicle production and after-sales topics, including coding, calibration, OTA updates, cybersecurity, diagnostics, and field-return investigations
β’ Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with OEM customers
β’ Ability to independently navigate ambiguous, cross-functional issues to resolution using a structured, evidence-based approach
β’ Experience delivering series-production ADAS or software-defined vehicle platforms with an OEM or Tier 1 supplier is a plus
β’ Valid EU driver's license
β’ Advanced vehicle-testing qualifications such as T1/T2 or equivalent certification are a plus
