Solutions Engineer – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with account teams to assess customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.

• Create and recommend customized infrastructure solutions that align with customers' business goals.

• Establish and nurture technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.

• Keep abreast of the latest product information.

• Deliver product training and technical education to both sales teams and customers.

• Serve as a trusted IT advisor for customers in collaboration with Field Account Executives.

• Oversee the solution practice pipeline by formulating strategies for key prospects and securing new business opportunities.

• Recognize technology opportunities within Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services domains.

• Create solutions that cater to customers' needs and financial constraints through strategic planning.

• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other client representatives for thorough account management.

• Train and mentor sales teams on technical selling, products, services, and emerging technology trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience is necessary.

• 3-5 years of experience in a related role.

• Experience in handling complex Data Center sales opportunities - Intermediate level.

• Capability to design data center infrastructures, including hybrid cloud, hyper-converged, software-defined data center (SDDC), infrastructure/platform as a service, automation, containerization, and Data Center Management Platforms - Intermediate level.

• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server virtualization, Software Defined Data Center, containerization, and automation - Intermediate level.

• Proficient in communicating and selling complex technical products or services by grasping customer needs, articulating the value proposition, and offering technical expertise.

• Knowledge in Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix - Intermediate level.

• Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and High Availability Solutions.

• Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.

• Advanced certification in one or more mainstream technologies is preferred.
