This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.
• Evaluate, develop, and assist in the implementation of logistics solutions that enhance the business models of current and potential clients.
• Analyze clients' existing conditions using suitable tools, diagrams, and thorough data assessments to design an optimal future state.
• Actively support the Transportation Insight sales process as a hands-on leader.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, senior team members, and prospective clients to create profitable, operational solutions.
• Utilize consultative selling, supply chain management, TMS implementation, and project management expertise across various functional departments.
• Establish pricing for complex multimodal service solutions.
• Contribute to the creation, demonstration, and presentation of documents for prospective clients.
• Articulate the value, differentiators, and multimodal service capabilities of Transportation Insight’s logistics partnerships.
• Collect client requirements and pinpoint key drivers for value-based supply chain enhancements.
• Document the current supply chain programs of prospects while coordinating assessment processes and timelines.
• Grasp clients' systems, applications, objectives, and requirements to propose suitable solutions.
• Formulate solution strategies and operational frameworks alongside cross-functional delivery teams.
• Lead strategy meetings with prospects and coordinate internal resources effectively.
• Record future solutions for presentations and other necessary documentation.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies for Transportation Insight services.
• Support sales personnel in demonstrating technology platforms that assist in closing new business.
• Engage with prospects and clients through phone, web, and in-person interactions.
• Identify client needs and areas for service enhancement, reporting recommendations to Solutions leadership.
• Evaluate and enhance the transition process of clients from sales to implementation/account management.
• Document best practices while supporting ongoing improvement initiatives.
• May undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
• MBA is preferred and required if the Bachelor’s degree is not in business or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in supply chain management-related sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience with complex, consultative solutions.
• Direct consulting experience in transportation, logistics, and/or TMS at the C-Suite decision-making level.
• Demonstrated success in generating revenue-driven solutions with measurable results.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
• LEAN/Six Sigma certification or experience is advantageous.
• Strong technical skills, including project planning, presentation, and general business applications.
• Capability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to function with minimal supervision and under time constraints.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional weekends and evenings during peak periods.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and out of state up to 15% of the time.
