This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Oversee and prioritize the VP’s calendar, meetings, attendees, and substitutes.
• Collaborate with the communications team to coordinate the VP’s speaking engagements and content needs.
• Organize and plan meetings, including setting agendas, securing locations, arranging meeting technology, managing logistics, preparing briefing documents, and documenting notes and action items.
• Create travel packs for international journeys and significant domestic events.
• Serve as a proxy for authorized communications and approvals.
• Address general inquiries, delegate routine matters, and follow up to ensure completion.
• Resolve issues in accordance with policies and guidelines, and mentor members of the administrative community in problem-solving.
• Assess when executive action is necessary and provide recommendations.
• Arrange global travel and optimize itineraries for scheduled meetings.
• Manage Cisco travel expenses and coordinate airline upgrades when available.
• Offer analytical support for executive special projects, including conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
• Prepare and brief itineraries, accompanying the VP at large corporate events such as GSX.
• Handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism.
• Provide ad-hoc support to senior directors within the team.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an administrative environment.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting a principal at the director level or higher.
• Expert-level proficiency in Windows desktop applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in calendar management, meeting planning, and travel coordination.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to connect effectively with executive/senior staff and clients.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, independent judgment, high integrity, and capacity to balance strategic and tactical actions.
• Remarkable attention to detail.
• Capability to manage confidential information.
• Proactive in taking initiative, solving problems, and making decisions.
• An associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in the high-tech industry is desired; prior experience with Cisco is preferred.
