This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Serve as the technical pre-sales support for Idira’s Identity Security offerings.
• Provide technical insights and demonstrate business value to Enterprise clients and partners.
• Cultivate both new and existing technical relationships within potential accounts, partners, and current customers.
• Oversee Proof of Concept assessments for Idira’s security solutions.
• Assist with RFP/RFI submissions and ensure that solutions align with enterprise standards.
• Build enduring relationships with technical teams and executives to promote customer success.
• Aid and empower Idira’s partner ecosystem.
• Represent Idira at public engagements, webinars, and industry trade shows.
• Act as the customer's advocate and communicate their needs to internal teams.
• Contribute to internal teams and provide mentorship where applicable.
• Relay customer requirements to the Product Management teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales, preferably in the identity or security sectors, or equivalent technical background.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (IaaS/PaaS).
• Practical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, LDAP, and federation services.
• Familiarity with concepts such as authentication, authorization, federation, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and JIT/ZSP models.
• Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Experience with endpoint management and least privilege tools.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, database security, network security, scripting, and DevOps methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate third-party solutions in complex enterprise settings.
• Experience in scripting to automate repetitive tasks or demo workflows.
• Previous experience with Idira solutions is advantageous.
• One or more relevant certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CEH, Security+, AWS Security, Google Cloud Security, or Azure Security.
• Strong presentation abilities and a knack for delivering high-quality demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to build consensus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events.
