Solutions Engineer – Cybersecurity, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete technical pre-sales process and generate new opportunities by showcasing how Akamai technology addresses business challenges.

• Design and implement product demonstrations, Customer Analysis Reports, and Proof of Concept trials.

• Collaborate with sales and customer executive leadership to synchronize customer initiatives with the capabilities of the Akamai platform.

• Work alongside engineering teams to establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert.

• Share knowledge through technical content creation, community involvement, and participation in industry events.

• Oversee technical proposals and offer optimal recommendations for intricate web, security, and cloud deployment workflows.

• Serve as a trusted advisor, identify recurring technical issues, cultivate technical champions within global accounts, and design tailored cloud and security solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in technical pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing architect positions supporting enterprise accounts.

• Strong understanding of internet architectures, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and hybrid cloud environments.

• Practical experience with WAF, DDoS protection, Bot Management, and Zero Trust/remote access architectures.

• Capability to articulate complex network and security transformations to both developers and C-level executives.

• Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English.

• Highly motivated team player who operates with urgency and excels in rapidly evolving environments.
